We want Shopdresser and the pages of the businesses that use it to work for everyone, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, a large text size or a slow connection.
What we aim for
Our aim is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. This is a goal we work towards, not a certificate.
What we do
- Pages work without a mouse, with a visible focus outline and a link to skip to the content.
- Text can be enlarged, and pages adapt to narrow screens without sideways scrolling.
- Pages are built to work in languages written from right to left.
- Movement on the page is reduced when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Forms have labels, and errors are explained in words, not by colour alone.
- Each business page takes a text colour that stays readable on the colour the business chose.
Known limits
- Photos uploaded by a business may lack a description.
- Social media pictures are images with text in them; the same text is always given next to them as a caption.
- Pages of other companies we link to (payment, public reviews) are outside our control.
Tell us
If something does not work for you, write to zyagency20@gmail.com and say which page and what happened. A person answers, and we treat it as a fault to fix.
